11Alive, ‘Murder’ Kroger now a pile of rubble
ATLANTA – One of Atlanta’s most infamous landmarks is being reduced to rubble.
The Kroger on Ponce de Leon Avenue, known more loosely as “Murder Kroger” is being demolished to make way for a mixed-use project.
Murder Kroger closed in late October. The demolition began last week.
The new project, known as “725 Ponce”, will feature office space and a new Kroger.
